About SPOT Allied Health
Therapy with Heart — Supporting Sydney's Families
SPOT Allied Health was founded by Vanessa (speech pathologist) and Ivan (occupational therapist) — two Hong Kong-born professionals trained in Australia.
We started SPOT with one goal:
👉 To help people who truly need support, especially those who face language or cultural barriers in accessing therapy.
We also believe in building a workplace that feels like family — that's why we call ourselves the SPOT Family. No matter your background, everyone deserves to feel supported and valued.

Who We Help
Children with speech, language, and developmental needs
We support children with communication delays, speech sound difficulties, autism, ADHD, sensory processing challenges, and other developmental concerns. Whether your child is just starting to speak or needs help interacting with others, we tailor therapy to help them thrive in everyday settings.
Families needing multilingual or culturally sensitive support
Our team speaks English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, and we understand the importance of cultural values in family communication and therapy. We work with families to ensure communication and therapy approaches are respectful, accessible, and culturally appropriate.
Workshops for educators to support communication and behaviour.
We provide speech pathology and occupational therapy under NDIS for clients of all ages. Whether your goal is to improve communication, daily living skills, or access community activities, we'll work with you and your support team to create meaningful goals and outcomes.
Child care centres and aged care homes
We partner with early learning centres and aged care facilities to deliver mobile therapy onsite. Our therapists are experienced in working within real-world settings, supporting staff and families to meet each client's developmental, behavioural, or functional goals.
